VWEC Car Shows

Your Hub for VWEC Sponsored Car Shows

VWEC Car Shows

This site is the new home for all Volkswagen Enthusiasts of Colorado (VWEC) car show information. We’re launching this subdomain early so participants, vendors, and sponsors have a central place to find the essentials while we continue building out the full experience.

Our Shows

Volkswagens on the Green (VWOTG)

VWOTG is Colorado’s largest and longest-running VW-brand car show that’s presented by a community club — not a corporation. It’s built and run entirely by VW owners and enthusiasts who volunteer their time to keep the tradition alive.

This event includes:

  • Show Vehicles (air-cooled, water-cooled, and electric Volkswagens)
  • Preferred Parking (VWOTG’s version of Show-n-Shine)
  • Vendors, sponsors, and food trucks
  • A full awards ceremony

We award trophies for:

  • Air-cooled Volkswagens
  • Water-cooled Volkswagens
  • Electric Volkswagens

Audi and Porsche owners are welcome at all VWEC shows. This site will eventually host VWOTG archives, winners, maps, and registration pages for future years.

Primitive Soul VW Rendezvous (PS12)

The Primitive Soul VW Rendezvous is hosted by Primitive Soul Tattoo, with VWEC providing event operations, registration support, and show-day logistics.

This show includes:

  • Show Vehicles
  • Show-n-Shine
  • Food trucks and vendors
  • A community-focused awards ceremony

As we build out this subdomain, PS12 will receive its own event page, registration links, and archives.

What You’ll Find Here (as pages are completed)

Some of these pages are already completed; others will be added as they’re finished:

  • Show Vehicle registration
  • Vendor, Sponsor, and Food Truck registration
  • Show-n-Shine / Preferred Parking information
  • Event maps and logistics
  • Voting information for Show Vehicles
  • Show archives and photo galleries
  • Sponsor listings
  • Volunteer information

Why a Separate Car Show Subdomain?

VWEC hosts multiple events each year, and our car shows have grown large enough to need their own dedicated space.

carshows.govwec.org focuses on:

  • VWOTG
  • Primitive Soul VW Rendezvous
  • Registration
  • Show logistics
  • Voting
  • Archives
  • Sponsors & vendors

Meanwhile, govwec.org remains the home for:

  • Club membership
  • Cruises & meetups
  • Club news
  • Community stories
  • General VWEC information

Current Status

This site is live but still under construction. We’re publishing it now so participants and partners have a place to find the essentials, and we’ll continue adding pages as they’re completed.
